Fawkner Amateurs - Honouring the Past

With the weekend behind us, we look ahead to Round 7 and our very much anticipated matchup between competition powerhouse, Oak Park Community Sports Association at The Colosseum Charles Mutton Reserve.

The day will be a very special day for all involved at the Saints, especially for one of our foundation clubs, Fawkner Amateurs, as our senior team will wear a reproduction of their original playing jumper for the huge clash, in the first edition of our ‘Honouring the Past’ series.

Fawkner had a very successful period and produced some fine footballers, so on Saturday, our current stars, the Bruno’s, the Dispenzeri’s, the Kako’s and the Abdallah’s get to honour their predecessors, the Teasdale’s, the Young’s, the Lawson’s and the Majerczak’s.

The day promises to be one to remember. Festivities begin at 12:00, with the past players jumper presentation at 12:30.

Under 18.5’s at 9:50, reserves at 11:50 and the big one at 2:15.

There will also be an Northern Saints Fawkner Auskick Centre match at half time of the seniors.
