And while scores and results aren’t the most important thing about practice matches, a narrow victory in our Seniors Game against Mernda Football & Netball Club Seniors on Saturday has maybe just given our group that little extra confidence going in to 2021, especially with so many young players and debutants blooded for the main game.

On Saturday our Reserves Team, under new look Coaching Panel of Playing Co-Coach Mouhamed El Sheikh, Darren Boyall and Ibrahim Mounajed who had another good match up against Mernda.

Our boys fought gallantly and improved each quarter showing promising signs.

It was a fantastic weekend for our sporting precinct over the weekend, with some huge results going our way.

And it was even better news that a Womens Champion player has joined the clubs coaching ranks.

Teresa D’Angelo joins father Vic as they will share coaching duties of our girls under 16’s team.

Get Active Kids Voucher Program

With the Minister for Community Sport Ros Spence today announcing that applications will open on 1 March 2021 for the opening round of the $21 million Get Active Kids Voucher Program, we’re hoping to make that happen for thousands of eligible kids around the state.

Just a reminder to all our members, players and officials registrations are open for 2021.

Everyone is required to be registered with SportsTG to participate in the 2021 season, who are now incurring a $10 levy also for each player only.

We have changed our Player Registration process to be completely online.This will mean any player will need to be paid up before they are allowed to register and therefore play.

Junior Registration

Our registration process is moving online this year, but to assist families with the change in our system, we will be holding a Junior Registration Day, at Charles Mutton Reserve, on Sunday the 7th of February, from 10-1.
